In this bObsweep PetHair review, we’re giving you a detailed consumer report on this robot vacuum cleaner, including its cleaning performance, features that you’d be excited to see, and what previous buyers have said about their unit.
The PetHair comes in two colors. You can choose between “rouge” and “champagne.” Does it deliver? Or it’s just plain hype? Find out more about it in this bObsweep PetHair review.
Introduction to the bObsweep PetHair
For starters, the bObsweep PetHair isn’t the thinnest robotic vacuum cleaner on the market. In fact, with a height of 3.9 inches, you might find it to be on the bulky side. And with a weight of 7.7 pounds, it’s not the lightest model either.
But if you check its features, you might be surprised to know that it can pack quite a punch. Below, we list down the bObsweep PetHair’s top features.
5-in-1 Cleaning Technology
Talk about multi-tasking…
The bObsweep PetHair can vacuum, sweep, mop, sanitize, and purify the air at the same time. It’s equipped with a 7,500 RPM TurboLift Motor that sucks up dirt particles from your floor. Flip it over and you’ll notice that it comes with a full-contact brush and a squeegee-style dust sweeper that works together to prepare the path for cleaning dust and hair.
As a mop, you’ll have to attach a micro-fiber cloth to sweep and polish your floors. As if that’s not good enough, the PetHair comes with an ultra-violet lamp that sterilizes surfaces. It also comes with a HEPA filter that sucks up mold, dust, and other particles that can pose a threat to your family’s health, thereby ensuring that you breathe clean air.
3 Cleaning Modes
Choose from three modes.
Pick “Robot” or “Auto Pilot” and leave the bObsweep PetHair to automatically navigate through the surface, cleans, then returns to the charging station when the battery is below 15%.
Choose “Quick Clean” for cleaning a medium-sized area. Expect the cleaner to go on standby mode after 30 minutes. Choose “Touch Up” for cleaning a small area. Expect the cleaner to go on standby mode after 15 minutes.
The bObsweep PetHair‘s dustbin comes with a 1-liter capacity, which is said to be the “largest in the industry.” Aside from its large size, the dustbin also has a three-layer filtration system that ensures that particles stay inside the bin.
This robot vacuum cleaner is equipped with a lithium-ion battery, which works for over 1 hour and 15 minutes on a single charge.
Although the bObsweep PetHair doesn’t have wifi connectivity, it comes with a remote control. That said, you can customize the cleaning modes and cleaning speeds from a distance.
Comprehensive User Manual
bObsweep has done an amazing job with the PetHair’s manual. It’s written in perfect English with all the information that you might need.
Most user manuals give you instructions, but bObsweep has done more than that. PetHair’s manual comes with explanation upon explanation to make sure that you understand the device. What is its limitations? How do you perform a check-up of the parts to make sure they’re working properly?

bObsweep PetHair Review – Consumer Report, FAQs
To complete this bObsweep PetHair review, we went through consumer feedback and comments posted on a popular online retailer. This is our consumer report, as summarized below.
Does it clean well?
The bObsweep PetHair picks up pet fur and even human hair fairly well. Does it work with cat fur, too? Yes. Does it pick up litter? Yes, it will.
Does it navigate well?
At 3.9 inches in height, the bObsweep PetHair can get trapped under some furniture pieces, but it tries to find a way out. Also, some pieces can “trick” the PetHair’s sensors, so this can be a challenge. These furniture pieces include those that are irregularly shaped.
According to the user manual, as long as there is no error shown, this shouldn’t be a cause for alarm. Instead, give the PetHair some time to go back and do its job well.
How does it clean carpets? Will this handle rugs with fringe?
Again, as stated in the manual, the bObsweep PetHair can get confused with certain carpet designs. Examples of these designs include those that have dark colors (which to the PetHair simulates an edge), and those that have long fibers or fringes (which can be troublesome for the PetHair’s main brush).
Any other challenges that the PetHair may encounter?
If you attach the mop head, the PetHair may have a difficult time transitioning between unsmooth surfaces.
